Everyday is a Chance to Get Closer to Your Flight Attendant Dream

Everyday is indeed a chance to get closer to that goal of your to become a flight attendant. No I don't mean that there are hirings everyday, but everyday is a chance to make small or big improvements on yourself. While airline hiring events come on staggered schedules, when the opportunity opens itself, at least you are already ready.

Preparing to become a cabin crew is never an overnight process where improvements can be seen right away. It may take a long process, really depends on you. Some may make it on the first try, and some may take time but whatever it is, its always best to be ready.

What are simple preparations that you could do everyday which may lead you to become a cabin crew and which would make you an effective one.
  1. Learn to have a genuine concern for others. It's not about what you get in return, but its all about giving regardless of how big or small. Something ordinary that you do may be extraordinary for someone.
  2. Make improvements on your physique. Exercise. Lose weight. Remove all blemishes. Learn how to fix yourself and look presentable. Invest on clothes. Go to the dentist if your teeth are crooked. Don't worry about skin-tone color as airlines do not care whether you are fair-skinned or morena. Just make sure you have clear skin. Learn to be conscious on how you look.
  3. Build your confidence level everyday. Learn to project it also when you sit, stand, walk, and talk to people. Love yourself most of all.
  4. Learn to pray everyday. Prayers are very powerful and it has been every flight attendant's best "weapon of choice". Of course, this has to be accompanied with faith.
  5. Develop your emotional quotient. To be a cabin crew, you need to have high EQ and here's why.
  6. Learn to read. This is now a problem of many millennials and today's generation of people. They do not know how to read. In fact, if you've reached this point, congratulations! Do not just read the title, it does not tell you the whole story. Read and understand articles. In training, your will be reading and memorizing a lot, with exams everyday.
  7. Take criticisms and corrections constructively. In the airline, you will be working as a team a lot. Sometimes, your more senior crew and pursers would need to correct some mistakes you omit. Take these as lessons instead of insults.
These simple seven tips may bring you closer to your goal to be a cabin crew. Everyday is a chance to make changes and improvements, which will all eventually lead you closer to your goal to be a flight attendant.
